The opportunities for learning are endless in our five L.O.V.E. spaces. Learn more about the various areas we have to offer.
My God sent his angel, and shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me because I was found innocent in his sight.
This uniquely designed space reminds us that God sends his angels to protect us. Throughout the space children will create, explore and engage in activities that will stimulate learning and development. Children will be surrounded with creative decor that reflects God's angels and protection. They will be free to act out life events with dress up, music and make believe. This room is multi-functional and on Sunday morning is staged as our nursery and toddler room.
These are the commands the Lord gave Moses at Mount Sinai.
(The Ten Commandments)
This room is creatively designed as a space for children to learn about the written word. As Moses was given the 10 commandments on Mount Sinai, children will have opportunities to read, write and explore language arts. Reading readiness and writing for Pre-K is also a focus in this space. Children will learn different languages with enrichment programs as presented by teachers and through hands on exposure. The room decor reflects things you may read about in the Bible regarding Mount Sinai. This room is multi-functional and on Sunday mornings is also used for our Children's ministry.
So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. This is how you are to build it: the ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high. Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof opening one cubit high all around. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.
Genesis 6: 19-21
You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, make and female, to keep them alive with you. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. You are to take every kind of food.
This space is all about construction, living things, weather and environment. Children will learn math, engineering and problem solving. This room will be filled with spaces to explore living things, animals, plants food and of course people. Children will love the way this room reflects the idea of what it may have been like to be Noah and his family. Special decor in this room makes the ark experience come to life. This room will feature a collaborative sculpture that children will work on and add to as they rotate into this space. This is usually a favorite and can be ongoing for weeks. The sculpture will become a part of the decor and on display for all to see and enjoy.
Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden: and there he put the man he had formed. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground - trees pleasing the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. A river watering the garden flowed from Eden.
Our Garden room is all about creation and creativity, You may have guessed it will be messy! Painting, gluing, cutting, clay, play doh and anything else you can think of to create masterpieces. Just like God did with the garden, children will be encouraged to use their imaginations while they create. This space is also going to speak out to our nature lovers. Children will learn how things grow with dirt, water and seeds and you may even see a few mud pies or living creatures. Creativity is always a surprise. And this space will not disappoint. The scientist in children will come alive while learning and exploring the sky, stars and how the world works. The Garden is ever evolving, we never know how the children will interpret the theme in this room.
Be aware, this room will be messy and we love it that way!
THE UPPER ROOM
Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover."
This large space is designed to meet the needs of our school age children. Just as the disciples prepared this room for the Passover, our staff will prepare this room for our school age children. Children will have opportunities to build friendships with classmates and make new friends as well. Teachers will be on hand to assist children with school work, social development, emotional support and learning what it means to be a Christian in the world today. This space will evolve with school schedules and a fantastic summer program will entertain and challenge your child with the goal of retaining the education obtained during the school year. On-site enrichment programs and activities will allow children to learn new things about the world they live in.
